Happy THankful THursday - Thankful for the little things

 

HAPPY THANKFUL THURSDAY!!!!!!! <3

This weekend I hit a milestone in my life. I turn the big 60! I'm thankful for this and so much more in my life!

When we're thankful it helps to open higher and happier energy for us. It flows to those we are near both in location and in our hearts. There was a song over 50 years ago now that said "A heart beat is a love beat..." and when we give thanks those beats ring with a kind of love.

Doors open more when we are in a gratitude mode.

Maybe you remember the other week I had a rainbow show up in my flat? I'm still grateful for that.......

Take time for saying a little thanks to the Creator/Spirit/God. Include your Angels and Guides with the Thanks. What about family and loved ones, you can include them too. Even the difficult ones because those were the harder lessons for us and they pushed us the farthest. Fur critters too in your life you can thank.

Sometimes for me it’s the little things I’m so very thankful for. Like today I was able to put in the thermostat to my vehicle. I was thankful it was a top mounted piece and not a newer model with one. Those require taking more things off than I want to think about. I’m mechanically inclined to a degree and bought all the necessary yesterday. After a little flubbing with finding the right socket, I got it done. Thankful to do that before the really cold weather starts in this weekend.

Today I had three meals. That’s something to really be thankful for and of! So many around the world AND in this country cannot say that. They weren’t anything grand, but they were tasty and nutritious meals. Thankfully I still like my own cooking :D

Today I’m thankful for the roof over my head. Again, stateside and many other places folks don’t have one. Less than a hundred and fifty miles from me there are those who are still without due to Hurricane Helene. Tents, campers, RV’s and whatever shelter they can put together. My fur babies and I have a roof and heat, that’s a lot to be thankful for.

You see it’ doesn’t have to be huge things that help with our hearts and minds, spirit and soul. It’s often the little things. Just like with readings, they mention the little things that were wonderful to them. Here we can be thankful for the little things and it does add up.
