Ginger Dog Signs!
Today, although sad in some ways for me, was also so beautiful from the confirmation and events that were signs I received.
My fur friend Miss “G” was, as I was told Saturday by her fur-servants, to be euthanized today, Monday. My intuition kept kicking in and I heard “No I’m going on Sunday.” On Sunday, a mutual friend said that the event was going to be at around noon on Monday. So I dismissed my intuition as we all do at times. Still I heard “No, I’m going on Sunday evening” whatever evening means to our four footed companions.
As we all have at times, I decided to put my mind to errands to keep from the sadness of losing a sweet lovable fur friend. First on the list was the pellets I use for cat litter from my local feed/nursery store. The young lady that helped me was “a ginger” like myself. (if you aren’t aware of the term, it’s more of an English term for a red head) At the checkout point we had a chat about our similar hair color and all that goes with it and off I went.
Having to go to the library I decided then to do most of my north west errands for the week today to get them done and dusted. Dust is right, pollen dust, huge clouds of pollen over my fair city/town. I’d never seen so much pollen in the air! Oh, back on track :D At the library I needed a bit of a helping hand to find something and “Mike” helped me and I noted he had a dark auburn red beard. Ginger #2 I thought as I left.
Off to errand #3 and getting a piece of glass cut for a picture I have that I’d broken the glass to a month or so ago. You guessed it a “Gingers” everywhere. One to check me out at the register once again. A few down the isles as I looked for the area where glass is measured and cut.
Oh those on the other side, furry, feathered or human do love to get our attention when they need to! Ginger a few weeks later would give me a grand hug but this day, she treated me to “Gingers” everywhere so I knew my furry little friend was indeed, OK on the other side!
